The Top Ten Ways to Relax and Reconnect with Your Inner Being

 

  1. Breathe. Ask yourself who is the one breathing. A mindful breath opens the possibility for contemplation and the release of energetic and emotional congestion.
  2. Sit quietly and bring your awareness to any discomfort in the body, be it physical or the habit pattern of the mind. Hold any feelings of discomfort that arise as gently as a baby who seeks calm and love.
  3. Connect with the divine presence. Talk and pray with the intention of deepening your intimate relationship. Ask for a blessing.
  4. Fix a raw food smoothie of greens, veggies, optionally with fruits. Create your own recipe. It will charge your body with life-giving enzymes, tasty treats, and high vibration nutrients.
  5. Do 15 minutes of an active movement practice such as dance, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Yoga, riding a bike, rebounding, or a walk in nature.
  6. Mindfully drink a glass of water, bringing your awareness to the experience. Seek out a place where there is water moving in nature and feel the connection to the movement.

  8. Climb a tree, sit beneath a tree or climb a hill. Changing your visual perspective opens a creative pathway.
  9. Meditate outside contacting the earth with your feet and legs to  ground yourself and balance your energy.*
