Chef Yourself a Thunderbolt of Nutrients

Today’s breakfast was inspired by . . . dare I say, what I had left in the refrigerator. It went like this and I was surprised at the full body taste with this combination of ingredients. We welcome comments and smoothie recipes!

Smoothie of the day

- 1 Small Beet                                              3652108873_a56ca475cd1

- 1 Medium Tomato

- Large Handful of Spinach

- Several Leaves of Kale

- Handful of Sunflower Sprouts

- Couple Dozen Blueberries

- 1 Pear

- 1 Tablespoon of Classic Ambrotose (My fave supplement for smoothies — keeps those cells talking to each other!)

Water to blend. Made 4 cups for me and the family peeps.

Okay. You’re right. The smoothie for the day turned out red and the the photo is of  a true green smoothie. I just loved the vibrant green in the Flickr photo!

P.S. Here’s an interesting combo I found in Flickr to keep your imaginative chef juices flowing! smoothie for lunch:  jam packed with spinach, broccoli, two banana’s, two peaches, walnut butter, kefir, honey, and ice. This made enough for 2 and 1/2 servings.
